Sense-Maker Hub
Strategic communications for evidence-led health companies

Has your health business moved faster than the market story?

NEW MARKET / NEW BUYER

The buyer has changed.

Establish what the new decision-maker values, how they evaluate the offer and where to focus before investing in positioning and GTM.

NEW EVIDENCE

What you can substantiate has changed.

Determine what the evidence now supports—and how that strengthens or changes the value proposition.

LAUNCH / REPOSITIONING

The offer has changed.

Align positioning, messaging and proof so Marketing, Sales, Medical and Commercial take a coherent proposition to market.

PARTNERSHIP / SCALE

More people need to carry the value.

Give partners, commercial teams and other stakeholders the messaging and proof they need to support adoption.

We don't start with the message. We start with the market, the evidence and the decision.

What we help you solve

MARKET & CUSTOMER INTELLIGENCE

Know which market and buyer are worth building around.

Establish where the opportunity is, who matters in the decision and where to focus before committing resources to positioning or GTM.

POSITIONING & MESSAGING

Build a market position your buyers value—and your evidence can defend.

Define what you can credibly own, why buyers should choose you and how the proposition should work across stakeholders.

GTM STRATEGY & MARKET ACTIVATION

Turn your market position into communication that moves buyers forward.

Give Marketing, Sales and Partnerships the messaging, proof, market education and enablement needed across the route to market.

CONTENT STRATEGY & THOUGHT LEADERSHIP

Turn what your company knows into a position the market recognizes.

Use evidence and expertise to shape buyer understanding, influence evaluation and build authority around the problems your company is qualified to solve.

One problem may use several capabilities.

You don't need to assemble the service package yourself. The scope follows the business problem.

Selected work

Complex strategic problems. Clear, consequential outcomes.

European Mental Health Ecosystem Investigation

Mapping what was holding European mental-health innovation back

What we did

Built a stakeholder-intelligence initiative across 23 organisations in 10 countries to identify what was repeatedly preventing promising mental-health approaches from moving from innovation to adoption and scale.

Result

Five recurring system barriers identified. Fragmented organisational input became concrete priorities for adoption, coordination, workforce capacity, sustainable funding and system integration.

European MDMA-Assisted Therapy Implementation Research

Turning clinical evidence into a roadmap for safe European implementation

What we did

Co-developed research with 68 international experts to establish what European health systems would require across practitioner training, clinical practice, regulation and access.

Result

Evidence became implementation criteria. 88% backed mandatory specialist training, 79% flagged inadequate therapist training as a risk, and 71% called for standardized protocols — clarifying priorities for safe, scalable adoption.

MAPS × UPRA Ethical Systems & Communications Redesign

Turning an ethics rupture into stronger institutional safeguards

What we did

Led a six-month communications and systems-design intervention, tracing how high-stakes information moved and where verification, escalation and response procedures were breaking down.

Result

Safeguards changed. Verification and grievance procedures were strengthened, protected categories expanded and response rules clarified, with insights carried into later MAPS training and Ukrainian ethical guidelines.

Different challenges. The same principle: understand what is actually limiting the outcome before deciding what communication needs to do.

Why Sense-Maker Hub

The problem often sits between functions.

Medical Understands the evidence.
Product Understands the offer.
Commercial Understands the buyer.
Sales Knows the questions.
Marketing Takes the proposition to market.

But no single function necessarily owns the synthesis.

Sense-Maker Hub connects those inputs into a market position, messaging and communication system that supports the same business decision across teams and stakeholders.

The work combines health research, market intelligence and strategic communications while respecting the specialist ownership of Medical, Regulatory, Legal, HEOR/Market Access, Product and Commercial.

Use what's already strong. Fix what isn't.

If the research is strong, we build from it.

If the positioning works, we don't rebuild it.

If one decision needs answering, we don't turn it into a large project.

You get senior strategic support focused on the smallest intervention that can materially move the problem forward.

How should we work on it?

Start with what you know now.

DIAGNOSE

Find where intervention will create the most value.

You can see the problem, but you don't yet know what deserves fixing.

Focused Diagnostic
Investigate one defined area.

Full Diagnostic
Establish where a broader, connected problem sits.

SOLVE

Answer the decision or build the solution.

You know what needs solving and can move directly into strategic work.

Strategic Sprint
Answer one consequential question.

Strategic Project
Solve one defined problem requiring connected work.

PARTNER

Keep strategy aligned as the business changes.

Markets move, evidence develops and priorities shift. New strategic communication decisions follow.

Strategic Communication Partnership
Ongoing senior capacity from decision-making through activation.

Built for continuity
Adapt priorities as evidence, markets and commercial needs evolve.

Not sure which one fits? You don't need to decide before getting in touch.

Bring the business problem. Not a communications brief.

Tell me what's changing, what decision or milestone is ahead and what isn't working as it should.

You don't need to know whether the answer is research, positioning, GTM, content—or a larger intervention.

I'll recommend the lightest engagement that fits the problem, including when you don't need a Diagnostic or a larger project.
